You're Not the Boss of Me
Eddy is having some problems with a kid at school. This kid is calling him names, taking his lunch money and trying to beat him up. He feels really bad and embarrassed. When he talks to his friend Clare he learns that being bullied is not something he has to go through alone. How do you help if you see someone getting picked on?

My name is
Eddy. I like playing baseball and writing mystery stories. A
couple of months ago my friend Jason was getting bullied by this guy at our
school. I wish I had told him to stop then because now he is picking on
me! If I don't do something soon he'll start picking on other kids at
Woodburn too!
What can I do?

Clare |
Hi, I'm Clare Sanchez and I'm 14 years old. I met Eddy at the youth center where I help him with his math. When he told me what was going on at his school it upset me too. When I was in fifth grade some girls started messing with me and I didn't know what to do. Later on I wrote an article about bullying for the school newspaper. Does talking about someone behind their back count as bullying? |
