Feelings Are Important

Melody and Brenda have school projects due next week.  The project is called “Feelings Are Important”.  Mel has already finished her project and Brenda is just starting hers.
Can you help Brenda come up with an idea for her project?
How many different feelings can you name?

Usually I, Brenda Dubrowski, have no trouble coming up with good ideas for school.  This time, though, I just can’t think of anything to do for my “Feelings Are Important” project.  I have thought and thought and still nothing.  I feel frustrated!  I bet my friend Mel can help me think of something.

Do you ever help your friends when they are having trouble with schoolwork?

Having five brothers has taught me a lot about feelings, like when my brother ate the last piece of my birthday cake.  I felt so mad!  But, when my other brother got a good grade on a math test that he studied hard for, I felt so happy for him.  It’s lucky that I can always talk to my oldest brother, Shaun, when I have a problem with a feeling that doesn’t feel so good.

Who do you talk to when you have a not so good feeling?
