ADOPT – A – PUPPET PROGRAM

Huntsville's Kids on the Block would like you to consider becoming an important member of our growing family.  Our "children," the Kids on the Block puppets, need loving "parents" to care for them and watch them grow.  Those "children" already with us (now numbering twenty-five) seek love and attention, clothing and shelter.  There are other "Kids" still living in Maryland who would eventually like to find families in our community.

You can easily become an adopting "parent" by selecting a "child" or "children" (a puppet or an entire program) which is of particular interest to you, or your organization or place of business.  Click here to look over the list of programs and puppets.

Cost

You may adopt one "child" or adopt an entire "family" in a program topic.  The "adoption fee" is tax deductible and is $1000 for one puppet for one year.  Also, you may co-sponsor or share adoption for $500.

Benefits of being a Kids on the Block "adoptive parent"

1. The knowledge and satisfaction that you are contributing to the education of our community's children in a unique and meaningful way.
2. A Certificate of Adoption, verifying your puppet adoption, to be displayed in your home, headquarters, or place of business.
3. An ongoing relationship with your "child" as appropriate. (For example, if you are a hospital, we will visit your patients, or if you are a business, we will perform for your employees)
4. The fun of visiting your adopted child whenever he/she performs. 
5. A press release to the local news media announcing your generous support.
6. An adoption ceremony in June at the Madison County Courthouse officiated by Judge Susan Moquin, followed by a reception (media invited).
