Employee Assistance Program (EAP)


Family Services Center's Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) are comprehensive services for employers based on the early identification of employees with emotional or substance abuse problems.  We provide assessment of treatment needs, referral to the appropriate level of treatment, an interface with external resources, appropriate follow-up, and training to help supervisors identify and correct employees with problems.  We also offer stress management workshops and wellness programs to promote well-being.

Employees with difficulties may, in fact, be a troubled employee who is stressed by personal or family problems. He/She may have demonstrated poor attendance, excessive tardiness, a decline in productivity or difficulties getting along with co-workers, clients or customers.  Very often, these on-the-job performance problems may be indirectly caused by off-the-job personal or family problems. This can cost a company time, energy and money in response.
