The Ride Scenic rolling hills bicycle tour around Madison and Marshall Counties in northern Alabama. Best riding in north Alabama; Paint Rock River, Grant Mountain! Extremely low-traffic. Multiple routes for all abilities from Metric Century+ to 6-mile family fun ride. Full SAG support, with well-stocked rest stops and after-ride pizza lunch at New Hope United Methodist Church. Directions From Huntsville (West): Take US 431 South (Governors Dr). In 16 miles, turn left onto Old 431/Main Dr. in New Hope. Continue 1.5 miles and turn right into the New Hope HS. From Scottsboro (East): Take US 72 West and drive past Woodville/Cathedral Caverns Highway). Go 3.5 miles, turn left onto CR5/New Hope-Cedar Point Road. In 9 miles, turn right on College Avenue. Go 0.3 miles, through stop sign, and continue straight onto Main Dr./Old US 431. Go 0.5 miles and turn Left into the New Hope HS. Lots of prizes for participating.
